Lowkey, why was that one of the biggest highlights of the con for me? Like, we did so many neat things and saw a ton of cosplayers and yet I feel like I reminisce the most about just chilling and playing some vidjuh games with you and the other folks there.

God forbid they clarify any of these steps at all when nagging you to make the switch to 11 every time you boot your PC back up. Maybe I’m crazy, but how about we get the most used operating system ever to work and be intuitive before we work on all that other shit, yeah?? Just a thought.

We’re sprinting full speed ahead into AI tech as if Microsoft isn’t still managing to somehow make using Windows the most unintuitive thing in the fucking world. Switching off of legacy BIOS to UEFI just to BE ALLOWED to upgrade to Windows 11 has had a massive roadblock during LITERALLY every step.

Sometimes it’s just applicable to ALL games, unfortunately. Comfort games are usually almost always alright, but even then, sometimes I guess I’m just not in the mood to play anything, in general.

Bleh. I hope I'm not coming off as nuts or anything, I'm just frustrated by this weird feeling and venting. Could be depression too, but idrk. Anyways, been replaying Chrono Trigger lately, and--shocker--it's still one of the best games I've played, and that's been a very nice feeling to hold onto.

Like, doing laundry is tedious, but once I'm done, it feels good, I can move on to other stuff, no problem. It's just getting the snowball rolling that I've always had issue with, and I guess this is an extension of the same problem. I've known this for years now, yet it feels difficult regardless.

Sometimes, yeah, I get frustrated and shut it off to save myself the energy and time, but it almost always IS fun to be challenged and try a game like New Vegas that I'm unfamiliar with. I feel like I'm so often holding myself back because of that initial resistance. It applies to chores too.

If I try a series, game, or genre I'm bad at (good example: Fallout New Vegas), the idea that I'll have to exercise any kind of brain muscles sometimes just exhausts me. I feel so pathetic saying that about trying a video game, but it's almost always the idea, not the actual process.

- games, or with games in them, but... PLAYING one?? Sometimes I get tired playing them; I don't understand how or why it's even possible. It's the epitome of brainrot for me, I think, because it seems like the IDEA of challenge keeps me away. Rotting is just mindless, emotionless, nothingness.

I swear, man, it's always the weirdest feeling when all I do is think and write about video games and yet sometimes I don't want to be playing one... at all. I mean, it's textbook burnout, yet I still think passionately about them almost every single day. I watch a lot of YouTube largely about-

I don't think Saul Gone could get any more perfect as a conclusion to everything this universe has said and shown. I'm gonna have to find some other thing to obsess over now, but I'm sure I'll be thinking about these two brilliant shows for the rest of my life. (6/6)

a little indulgent in how slow some scenes are, but it only makes the impact greater, makes the big moments bigger. I just adore how they turned a humorous, cartoonish caricature of a person in Breaking Bad to one of the best, most human, and sympathetic protagonists I've ever seen. (2/6)
