And speaking as a California voter, the issue with Newsom doesn't just lie with his terrible trans politics. He's been making war on unhoused people since his time in San Francisco politics, and he's also not good for disabled Californians, especially mentally ill ones.

Newsom does not represent trans peoples' interests. it's not derangement. the options right now are not newsom vs maga/trump, it's newsom vs the rest of the democratic party. we are allowed to criticize him for being a fucking asshole towards us.

Newsom is a fantastic example of how liberals use a terrible fucking person that nobody needs to put in power, rallying around their hypothetical campaign to protect the most abhorrent positions
