Some inked original artwork i did. I found them wile looking through some paper files. All the inked art was inked with a brush.
I was never any good with a quill and ink well.
but give me a winsor newton 2 series sable hair brush? and I could kill it 😉

If I did shows that is where I'd do folks physical drawings in their books or as show commissions.

May be no one wanted to pay for shipping for home commissions? Who knows lol

Part of the reason I stopped doing physical art for commissions is no one wanted the original artwork 🤷‍♂️

A Shuochangyong statue for context 😆

The piece is based on a Shuochangyong statue from The Eastern Han dynasty (A.D. 25–220).
The color is based on Brother Bare. Personally not a favorite film?
but the artwork, backgrounds and color design was incredible.

This was commission from Kincademk for their good buddy Blackfox85. I did something very Okami inspired.

A toony version of my character. I created this piece in Adobe illustrator so that I could get better at using it. Back then there was no live trace and it did not have the ability to do tapered lines, So I had to draw the shape of every tapered line and adjust them.

Did I draw you something in side of it ? 🙂

The internet is the place where art goes to die. You just hope the people bother to read the marker and remember who did what. 🤷‍♂️

I was thinking of leaving my DA up. Maybe update links and do some clean up? I don't know years ago be fore all the A I there was a whole lot of art theft and I sort of made peace with the fact any art I ever posted I would lose control of.

Funny thing was an over compensation I used to have issues drawing them and feet when I was young. I’d spend a lot of time drawing them. 😆

My Contribution to Alopex's Kabuki Moose sketchbook. With a special appearance by Sumikazu. This one was a more involved con commission. Still happy with the work I did on it. Not every day you get to draw a kabuki moose lol
