Last week, middle schoolers faced off against a rogue artificial intelligence in our Rise of the AI Escape Room! Armed with teamwork and sharp puzzle-solving skills, they raced against the clock to stop the AI from escaping the virtual wasteland and invading the real world. 👾🧠🕹️

Celebrate the end of our Summer Reading Challenge and try your luck to make it through Gumdrop Mountain and Candy Cane Forest to Candy Castle. This is a drop-in event and no registration is required.

🍄✨ Mario magic hit the library yesterday! Kids ages 3–6 had a blast running, jumping, and dodging their way through a Mario & Friends-inspired obstacle course designed by our talented teen volunteers. 🧱⭐

It's Juneteenth! Celebrate this federal holiday commemorating the end of slavery in America with an engaging historical read. You'll find these titles, and many more, featuring the history of the Black experience in the US on our displays this week. #librariesareforeveryone

🦴🦕 Families had a roaring good time at today’s T-Rexplorers visit in the library’s circle drive! Kids got hands-on with real dinosaur fossils, including bones from a T-Rex and Triceratops, and learned what it’s like to go on a real paleontological dig. 🦖🦴

🥳 From an obstacle course through the Children’s Department to an all-out Nerf blaster battle in the stacks, these soon-to-be middle schoolers got a one-of-a-kind introduction to the Teen Loft on Saturday. The night wrapped up with crafts, pizza, and a whole lot of fun.

🌍🍫 Last night at the library, local teens became international snack critics! As part of our monthly World Snacks program, participants sampled treats from around the globe and ranked their favorites. From sweet to spicy, there were plenty of surprising hits! 🌶️🍬✈️

Thank you to everyone who joined us last night for our Meet the Artist event featuring Bob Carlson and his exhibit Abstract Improvisations. Bob’s expressive acrylics on canvas and paper celebrate the freedom of abstract art, where color, form, and line speak for themselves.
