We need more art of queer cowboys and trans cowboys and cowboys being tender and kind and cowboys depending on each other and accepting help. Art that queers the concept of the rugged individual cisgender heterosexual cowboy

Something I forgot. It’s especially tormenting because I feel stuck in a loop. I know I need to fundamentally change to get out of this place, but this place makes me so stressed and whatnot that change is hard. I struggle to cope. I’m not happy. Will I ever be?

If anyone read all this and has tips for self control, self discipline, that sort of thing, or just addiction recovery in general, I’d appreciate it. I truly consider this to be an addiction for me, albeit purely mental.

By that, I mean social media/doomscrolling. It’s a pointless waste of time with no benefits and all negatives.

It often feels like I’m just the passenger, and the driver in the car is my instant dopamine seeking brain. I’ll never get anywhere at this rate. I’m going in circles.

Then again I would’ve probably made more progress if I was more consistent with it. It’s just so hard to juggle returning to “school”, a job, hobbies, friends, and trying to fix diet and get in shape. The fact I’ve found myself relying too much on my unhealthy addictions to cope doesn’t help.

in each day and yet I waste so many of them. It sucks. I need to get back to studying, cause the self paced online classes are free and would save me money, but it’s so intimidating and hard to get the ball rolling again. I feel like I’m not making real progress when I do it.

Sorry for the lack of new art. I’m pretty overwhelmed with life & mental health stuff. I feel like I have an impossible number of things on my plate, and I haven’t been sticking with some like I should. I wish holding myself accountable was easier. There’s only so many hours
