To kick off celebration of the birth of our Democracy we took a LEFT turn from traditional barbecue and created creamy shrimp fettuccine.

Some nights, nothing else will quite do! 🍣

What better way to usher in summer than whipping up a fresh batch of comfort food. Tonight that was Beef & Pork Meatballs Parmesan Casserole over whole wheat spaghetti.

This morning I whipped up a Yukon gold potato crust quiche with sharp white cheddar, caramelized bacon and onions😋

Tonight we decided to buck the barbecue trend and make these amazing Korean beef tacos.🌮 We marinated the beef 🥩for over 24 hours before caramelizing it to perfection. 😋

Sometimes the weekend requires something special like making your own shrimp fried rice 🍤 🍚 😋

Some days nature reminds us that beauty still exists if we can pause long enough to appreciate it.

Wednesdays can be a great day to celebrate almost the weekend (almost). We chose to look forward with Thai Coconut Chicken Soup over jasmine rice. 🍲

This Mother’s Day is tough for many of us. It’s heartbreaking how many friends are celebrating their 1st or 2nd Mother’s Day without their mom. Having been there, celebrating the joy they’ve brought helps. So, let’s raise a glass to all the amazing moms, both living and gone. 🍸💔❤️‍🩹❤️❣️

When it’s a beautiful day, sometimes only a light departure will do. So that was a great excuse (as if one was required) for our favorite pasta salad with seedless cucumbers, orange peppers, black and kalamata olives, and chives, with chickpea pasta with oil and vinegar dressing. 😋

Some days, only a steak 🥩 will do; encrusted with peppercorns and sea salt, stuffed with garlic cloves, and caramelized to perfection.

Sometimes it just takes a moment to stop and think of someone else, and share some of the beauty that’s within each us. Don’t forget to share a smile, you never know who needs it.❤️
