Skill: Master Cut - attacks now also count as a parry. Inspired by HEMA longsword fencing, where the best defense is a good offense.

Synergizes with other parry skills, such as "parry now counts as an attack" = double attack with the right timing:

Correct, no pathing. Skill tiers are only gated by player level. Respec is free for now while testing, but it feels a bit too arbitrary without some commitment or cost to respec. What I like is being able to pick any abilities to synergize together, not just hyper-specialization down a paths.

Iโ€™m trying a system where you can allocate points wherever, can mix & match, but each skill level costs increasingly more; if skill level 1 costs 2 points, level 2 costs 3, etc. Each level adds a lot of value, so itโ€™s always a meaningful & difficult choice for the tradeoffs, not just a grind
