1 week since I held my wife's hand for the last time and had to say goodbye. This pain is impossible. But she'd want me to push through. I just hate that she isn't here to help

When she got out. It was never about if, but when she got released. I know people always say to tell your loved ones they are loved but in this case, it made all the difference that the last thing I know she heard me say was that I love her.

I was debating posting this but decided to go ahead. This is it. The last photo we ever took together. Her trying to figure out what was going on because she had just woken up with Ferdinand the Cat-Duck and Delilah the Emotional Support Cow next to her. We were going to take so many more photos.
