Datura told me of how she has been trying to a year of her life went missing from her memory, and how it showed her how important her efforts are in finding a better way to store knowledge and memory.
To her, the mind is far too unreliable, but writing leaves much to be wanted.

She sought to understand how her spell knew what thoughts and memory to take from the mind of its caster. The interest to catalogue history were equal to the desire to understand how exactly her magic worked, to see if it could take words from a more certain truth than a mind.
