On this day in 1881, a Czech Jewish woman was born. On the 20 Jul 1942 she was deported to Theresienstadt with her husband and on the 6 Sep 1943 to Auschwitz where she perished. Her husband perished in the Ghetto. Her name was Luisa Seligmann

On this day in 1900, a French Catholic priest was born. Arrested for protecting Jews, he was incarcerated in various concentration camps. He perished on the 2 Jun 1945, days after liberation. Subsequently recognised as Righteous Among the Nations. His name was Lucien Bunel

On this day in 1881, a Austro-German Jewish man was born. Living in Prague, on the 7 May 1942 he was deported to Theresienstadt with his wife & then on the 9 May 1942 to Sobibór. It is most probable that they where murdered on arrival. His name was Otto Haasz
