I'm currently in an excellent rehab wing of a hospital, and i'm working with a case manager to find where i'm going to be best supported.It may be somewhere near an ALS focused hospital in Grand Rapids where I already saw my neurologist, who diagnosed me.

I entered the hospital when My dad had a fall and could no longer take care of me at home. I had to go to the hospital to get taken care of while I found a new home to live in as my father is now going to be living in a nursing home Most likely.

I'm aware of service dogs. My post was to call out therapy Dogs and the good they do for people like me that are stuck in the hospital. I'm still very much in transition.I haven't found my new home yet for After the hospital.

My top dogs for October:
Were the 3 therapy dogs that visited me in the hospital after getting my diagnosis of ALS.. Because of falls, I can't live with a dog anymore as they could cause false easily. I love therapy dogs!

As a kid (I was like 10), I went to a Pacer game. After that, there was a bowling event on the basketball floor. As me and my father exited, we ran into Reggie Miller. He said "Hey Batman!" as he saw my Batman tshirt.

I can drive regularly pretty easily...but it's the turns that are a royal P.I.T.A. The parking garage was my bane.

In Kalamazoo again. My arms did not like the driving and were basically noodles the rest of the day.

I didn't need healthcare anyway as I lose the use of my arms, while caregiving for my dad that has dementia. I'm sure disability that I haven't been approved for yet will cover it.
