What an amazing night aurora you could see really good with naked eye at around 8:20pm Buxton, NSW. sometimes bright white beams go up, This is the second time in less than year seen aurora from this far north. Hopefully others get to see more action was too cold to stick around.. #aurora #nature

Australia has five chats (part of the honeyeater family).
I haven't seen yellow chats or gibberbirds yet. They are found in remote arid areas so I need an outback trip to find them. One day though!

All I had to do to get some shots of the “uncooperative” Rufous Hummingbird, was to sit still and wait. Sometimes he was at his perch just for a second. But, I was ready, prefocussed and patient.
