The media environment in the US has degraded so quickly. While Dowd's remarks weren't laudatory, they weren't crass or cheap. Compare this with the Fox News anchor suggesting *this morning* that we should murder ("involuntary lethal injection; just kill 'em") people experiencing mental health crises

Media deserves a large part of the blame. They are quick to adopt right wing narratives and blame the left every time, despite not knowing who the shooter is or their motives. Meanwhile they conveniently ignore that almost every shooter is Republican egged on by rhetoric of right wing media.

Our politics seems to be entering a phase of "right supremacy" where only the lives of right-wingers have value. Assassinating the leader of a state legislative body in her own damn home was business as usual, but all of America has to have a reckoning if it's a far-right online influencer.

Dems will be too scared to speak as R’s tighten their grip on fear and use today to justify calling anyone who dissents a domestic terrorist, even when there are no confirmed details of the shooter’s motive. Kirk’s career was built on hate and division. Don’t be afraid to say it.

Astrophotography mode is the same again on the 10 Pro XL. Unfortunately no way to take a longer timelapse that I can tell.

but not as smoother as on the S25 Ultra. Apps install faster than previous Pixels probably due to UFS 4, but not as fast as S25 Ultra(Notice a theme? 😂) I've experienced some bugs like the screen locking up a couple of times. Right now software seems pretty buggy. Galaxy Watch 8 doesn't work with it

Haven't experienced it overheating so far. Cooling does seem better than previous Pixels. If you've used a Pixel 9, the 10 has the same reception. Same modem. It still seems to love to jump between 4G and 5G much more often compared to my S25 Ultra. Scrolling is not as stuttery(cont)
