The new movie started development as a miniseries and you can really tell they’re trying to cram 4 or 5 episodes of a show into 90 minutes.

I don’t think the angle is that bad, they just need to get to where it’s guys like Kenny, Swerve, or Ospreay chasing Mox. Nobody believes Orange Cassidy or Cope is winning the title.

Wrestling promos in 2025 are like “this show is worth $5 billion and nobody has ever paid more to attend an event before!”

People online talk about it like it’s the most heatless story ever but Deathriders matches & segments seem to get perfectly good reactions from the live crowds.

Having Piper and Ventura that low is crazy. They Live, Predator, and The Running Man clear Rock & Cena’s whole filmographies.

People are always saying this, but I’ve barely seen AEW fans acting this way in large numbers since 2021. Over 90% of what I see from wrestling accounts on X and Facebook is people posting pics of the empty half of the arena at AEW shows and saying the promotion needs to die.

So far every promo that’s been done on WWE tv referencing AEW like that has been met with crickets. I think most WWE fans don’t know about that stuff and don’t really care.

That’s my top 3 2024 movies that are definitely horror. If I count debatable horror-adjacent stuff, I Saw the TV Glow and Trap would be 2 & 3.
