I am a bit impatient myself with releasing the 13th chapter as well, but … this ends the first part of the story.

So, I’ve decided to try my hand on another contest while I’m still working on my “Demontears”.
“Singularity” is also an older idea, which I already reworked once for a light novel contest. It did make it past round one then, but not into the finals. So I’m touching it up a bit more.

My body is forcing a pause on me. Things are getting better but by bit, but it’s very slow going. Sometimes I feel as if I’m double my age while the world wants me to have enough energy as if I’m half my age.

At least I also have to wait before I can continue to work on several of my projects ...

Oh, and since all good things come in three ... Well it's your decision to judge, if it's good. But my space opera is with an editor. I hope, something will be finished this year, but some things have been delayed far more than I'd like. So there won't be any release dates unless everything is ready

The second part of my first book. Tides of Magic – Dragontears will get a sequel. Demontears are currently in quality control—that is a few beta readers. Still have no release date, but after working on it for so very long, I think we're closer to release than to me starting to work on it.

I haven't posted an update here in so long, it's overdue.
So, what happened to the light novel I wrote for a contest? I didn't even make it past round one. So, that might find a different home. And I have continued to write part 2, but hit a small snag: Sickness.

Petition to lift restrictions on prescribing puberty blockers to trans children. We want the Government to reverse the restrictions it has introduced relating to the prescription of puberty blockers to children. The Government introduced legislation banning them from being prescribed by the private sector and NHS primary care to under 18s not already taking them. Petition currently sitting at 8.4 thousand signatures. It needs 10,000 to get a response from the UK Government, and 100 thousand to be debated by Parliament.

I've been keeping an eye on this petition to protect the rights of trans kids to have access to puberty blockers, and while the signatures started strong with a huge uptick early on, the numbers are starting to stagnate at 8.4k.
