I would be curious to know what your noise floor is like if you have the numbers on that with this setup, as well as if you did anything for the ceiling because literally every part of this room is concrete including the ceiling

I should probably also mention the ceiling is also concrete. Every single part of this room is concrete and there are also shelves drilled in which means I probably have to layer these blankets in intervals even though those shelker is going to be where I was going to put my microphone and my screen

I would still occasionally hear stuff from the refrigerator that was in the room outside the closet or from the furnace, since it was only when both the furnace and the refrigerator and nobody was talking in the same room that I could truly get a -60 dB noise floor or below

I just remember that for my walk-in closet I had to use 3-in acoustic foam as well as rock wool panels and an old duvet as well as a rug and cushions on the floor for sound dampening and

It's also an extremely irregularly shaped room that's a fair size bigger than my current walk-in closet and I'm not entirely sure how I would ever be able to fit those together, but I'll see what I can do. Thanks!

I might be forced to move my recording space from a repurposed walk-in closet That I had rockwool panels, 3-in acoustic foam, and a duvet hung up for sound absorption and dampening and move it into a concrete room And I'm not looking forward to this prospect So any help needed?

Anyone know if it's possible to soundproof/sound dampen an all-concrete room to reach a -60 dB or below noise floor? Or will I have to accept that if I am out into the situation, I might be dealing with a noise reflective nightmare from here on out.

I decorated my phone case yesterday and made a new wrist strap for my new phone and I'm so much happier now to have my phone fit my aesthetic again
