Every freaking time I open this app it's telling me I have more followers. WHYYYYY. Making a note, I currently have 690 followers (for some weird reason, I don't actually know that many people IRL). Is anyone else experiencing this?

Well, I have officially lost enough weight that my cousin's wife didn't recognize me at their wedding today. She thought we were pulling a joke on her, until I said "I lost a lot of weight." What a freaking weird experience. I don't know if I'm happy about it or if I've entered the Twilight Zone.

I woke up to another notification of 38 new followers. WHY. Instant suspicion. I'm starting to worry. Is this a new influx of people on Bluesky? I know you can follow people with similar interests... Otherwise it's creepy denunciation, neighbors looking to sell out others to the Gestapo for $$$.

I'm not happy that Audible decided to use Chapter One as the retail sample. I made a track for a Chapter 2 excerpt. The main speaker in Ch 1 is the birth mother who doesn't survive the bus crash, the rest of the book has different lead characters and different voices. Sigh.

Making smart dietary choices is a lot easier. When you're not constantly hungry with cravings, you can think more clearly.

It's also weird to comprehend. I had been 200 pounds for years. To now look at the scale it leaves me in disbelief. I look in the mirror and it just doesn't compute. I don't want to get rid of my clothes yet, as though I'm afraid this is temporary and I'll wake up one day back at 200.

I know the GLP-1 medication would help with weight loss, I just didn't quite realize how quickly my clothes wouldn't fit. Here I am, 4 months later and 40 pounds down, and some of my favorite clothes are now too big. I'm trying to make the shirts work, but the pants... Parting is such sweet sorrow.

Maybe I should start a bluesky account for my cats. They have nothing meaningful or useful to say, which often tracks for social media. They might be perfect influencers.

Fur family IS family. They live with you, love you, keep your heart beating when it's breaking. Animals are better than people. They're better than money, in my opinion.
