یہ اُس طلب کا نشاں، جو دامنگیر ہے
رازِ عشق کی طرح، کچھ باتیں نا مکمل
کبھی اُجالا، کبھی تاریکی، امتحانِ زیست
نگاہوں میں پگھلتے عکس، خوابوں کے محل
موم کے اصنام، ہر کش میں پگھل جاتے ہیں
کیوں ہر کش کے بعد، یہ کائنات سمٹتی ہے
جیسے کوئی طوفانِ غم گُزر گیا، سب خاک ہوا

شب کی تاریکی، وحشت کا عالم
دو کش، جیسے وقت کی نبض تھم سی گئی
