I made interactive handwriting in javascript and p5js

Yeah it just made sense in terms of the way my brain wanted to layout the letters and also for each letter path to need as little data as possible

Getting interactive with my javascript handwriting

I don’t often lean into my photography degree these days, but as soon as I got these handwriting prints, I wanted to capture some shots like this, using lighting and a shallow depth of field to add to the atmosphere of the images.

Love how this is coming together (with thanks to GenArtClub friends for suggestions!)

Also love the way the randomly generated title for this one references “the eclipse” - which matches the visual so well.

Artwork coded in p5js and javascript. Contains generated sentences like "Will collaborative kaleidoscopes ever conceive of motions? What is constructive inception? A formula is a reflection of perspective." The words cascade down the page in a gradient from green, through yellow and orange to pink. The placement of the words is displaced using noise.
