There are 28 Republican members on the House Oversight Committee. None of them showed up today for Les Wexner’s deposition on Epstein.

Jeffrey Epstein had the means to commit his heinous crimes because of the financial support of Les Wexner. Oversight Democrats will make sure that he and any person connected to Epstein, is held accountable.

I asked Mr. Wexner if the DOJ or FBI ever contacted him to ask him about Epstein and his crimes. He said NO. That’s outrageous and unforgivable.

I was terrible at sports, but won a Dewey Decimal contest put on by our school’s library. As someone with a mind that is constantly going, audiobooks a nice way for me to calm down, and relax while I use my hands for crochet, or beadwork.

I love audiobooks for when I am crocheting or doing beadwork. In those moments, I love being able to calm my mind down whilst listening and creating with my hands work. Very relaxing. I also really love hearing authors read their own works.

At this point it is going to take a sustained and more intense public outcry. We all need to shame and shun the predators, boycott their businesses, hold their shareholders to account for who they have running their companies. Congress needs to feel public pressure.

Because to punish predators in the US means they’d have to deal w/the pedo POTUS.

Money and power are more important to the GOP, and they don’t care about the victims, or anyone who is not a wealthy white male.

From school shootings to slashing the social safety net, they DGAF about Americans.

I have made great effort to avoid seeing or hearing him as much as possible. He’s worse than the sound of fingernails on a chalkboard. I often scroll right by clips on social media and tend to keep the volume off so I don’t have to hear him on accident. Sick of him, and his whole circle of jerks.

US Politicians are very happy to keep framing the Epstein files as partisan. Because it shifts the focus from the real issue.

This was never about politics. It’s about mainly rich, white, powerful men believing they could do whatever the hell they wanted and get away with it.

The fact that troops and their families were pressured by commanders to go see the Melania movie is quite troubling. Some military noted an atmosphere of fear if they didn’t. Now imagine if these troops are ordered to fire upon US citizens for protesting or for showing up to vote at the polls.

Sadly, ICE learned what not to do in Minnesota… they have not left… but are spreading out in disguise tricking and nabbing people before we can respond. We need a new plan….
