I agree that it’s unfortunate/confusing, but I think its more the norm to have to pick the nvidia image.

If you have an example I’d love to see it. I’m curious how it’s implemented.

Apple released account merging a while back and there was a load of complaints about broken stuff, so I held off.

Has that stuff been fixed yet? Anyone have a good experience merging their Apple accounts?

That’s a nice looking tool but I have a slab and 123 blocks and I should be able to build up square without adding a single purpose tool.

That’s a bling build for sure. I’m not going to go quite so CNC but I did order some GE5C for the mod.

Need to decide if I’ll pony up for Ti backers or wait and see. I haven’t needed them on my trident but that’s a different animal.

Nice V1. Don’t see as many of those around these days

Right now, the only way I can find to re-orient a clone is to use Compounds or the KiCadStepUp addon workbench.

Both seem like needlessly complex workflow additions.

What’s the best filament dryer on the market?

I have an Eibos Easdry which does a good enough job on drying but doesn’t fit spools with spool or AMS weights and is side loading, which is a pain point in my setup.

I’m looking at the Polyphemus at the moment.

Got my first spool of Ambrosia ASA calibrated today.

The app on my phone did crash twice on setting up the initial sync, but is now cranking away and at reasonable speeds given that i'm hosting locally in the #homelab.

Setting up an #Immich install to see if I can get it to replace iCloud Photo Library.

I've never had anything self-hosted that was able to cope with >1tb of media (across dozens of formats) but people speak highly of it.

Three samples of a 3d printed radius gauge for the back of a set of calipers sitting on a 3d printing bed. One is attached to calipers to indicate how the tool works, another is sitting right side up but not attached to calipers to show the relief to fit the caliper bolts, and a third is flipped over to show the embedded label that has the equation required to use the tool.

A lot of people have done versions of this tool, but none of them were right for my calipers or the magnets I had on hand.

And worse: None of them used an open CAD format that I could edit to correct that.

A screenshot of the freecad user interface showing a model that has two recessed cylindrical pockets. The pocket parameters are open in the window and show that it is has the type: "two dimensions", the first length is 3.5mm, and the second length is -0.5mm. This creates a feature that is 3.5mm deep with the lower 3mm of the cylinder pocketed and the top 0.5mm of the cylinder remaining solid.

A print in progress currently paused to allow for inserting embedded magnets.

If you're coming to @freecad.bsky.social from other CAD packages and are missing pockets that are offset from the sketch plane, here's a trick

You can do that with a two dimension pocket, adding the offset to your first length and setting the second length to the negative offset
