I first discovered Battletech in October 1985, about a month after seeing my first episode of Robotech.

On that October day, the Warhammer/Tomahawk stood out on the box art, and while I learned that it wasn't a Robotech game. I fell in love with it anyway.

Might be unconventional but borrowing the idea off of gunpla: using a fine-tip pen to do the panel lines really adds some pop.
