Yeah 100%. It really annoys me that there's no legal repercussions at the moment. Or at least, maybe there will be, but actually finding the responsible person is incredibly challenging.

Maybe we need something like bot actions being "signed" by a human if they are going to act in public.

Yeah what a wild article. To be fair I assumed this was aimed at the owner of the bot - to try to get them to fess up or be better.

The most important aspect of any enduring work of art, from ancient Greek sculpture to music to cinema to video games, is that the longer you study it, the more coherence and craftsmanship you can appreciate. The human(s) become evident. AI-generated material is exactly the opposite — it makes sense only at a glance, and deeper inspection only reveals its lack of intentionality.

Sometimes I think I use kinesthetic for the same purpose. Full of movement.

Thinking it through: the first derivative tells you how much the probability increases as you change the "outcome" value. That's already kind of a weird concept tbh. Basically "as we get closer to a specific situation of interest, does the probability get higher or lower?"

Huh .. yeah that's pretty interesting. I guess statistics rarely cares about the acceleration of the distribution curve itself and more about the integral under it.

Maybe it's flipped: the concept of "1 deviation" is based on the position of the inflection point (or derived from a related value?)
