UPDATE: AIC boss Michael Lee Chin will face more questions from anxious AIC bondholders this week. The trustee for the corporate bonds has scheduled bondholders meetings for Tuesday and Wednesday for Specialty Coffee and Portland Barbados.

NEWS: Billionaire businessman Michael Lee Chin wants AIC bondholders to grant an extension to October 2027 for the payment of their principal. Bondholders have been unhappy over the two-quarter delinquency in interest payments and there is now deep worry about their investment.

DEVELOPING STORY: There has been another cyber attack at the Manchester-based Northern Caribbean University. This is the second attack in three years at NCU. Students have been advised that their private information may be publicised.

Two women were shot dead and three other people injured during a candlelight vigil near Nashville Plaza in Mandeville last night. A 12-year-old child is among the injured. The shooting happened during a dispute among a licensed firearm holder and others. He has surrendered to the police.

Health authorities say accident and emergency services are continuing. However, if there are changes, there may be increased patient load at health centres. Operations at Kingston Public Hospital significantly scaled down amid air-conditioning problem. The Accident & Emergency Department, Operating Theatre, Recovery Room and the Intensive Care Unit are particularly affected. Critical emergency surgical and ICU care restricted.

Linton Gordon, attorney for Usain Bolt, has denied claims that Bolt's company, did not properly transfer funds to #SSL.

The Privy Council will hand down judgment in a matter of hours on Tuesday...

Kiprich is scheduled to appear in court later this month. He was charged by the police today after being questioned. Three days ago, the artiste was among several men named as persons of interest by the St Catherine North police.

Dancehall artiste Kiprich has been criminally charged. Kiprich whose given name is Marlon Plunkett has been charged with use of audio and audiovisual communication to promote criminal activity. The police say he used a song to endorse violence and paid tribute to the One Order Gang.

The power company sought a judicial review and lost. It then took the matter to the Court of Appeal and lost before asking the Privy Council to overturn the ruling on three main grounds.

In April 2016, the IDT ruled that the workers be reinstated and paid 52 weeks' pay, failing which they were to be paid 150 weeks' wages after deducting previous redundancy payments.

The UK-based Privy Council will tomorrow (Tuesday) hand down judgment in the long-running case of Private Power Operators Ltd vs Jamaica's Industrial Disputes Tribunal. The matter involves the alleged unjustifiable dismissal of workers amid a purported redundancy exercise in June, 2013.
