Healthy Seniors (@healthyseniors) One month before turning 95, Patricia Routledge wrote this, she died today aged 96. “I’ll be turning 95 this coming Monday. When I was younger, I often worried I wasn’t good enough—that I’d never be ...

I love this so much, such a beautiful way to think about growing older.

The manipulation of social media seems to have driven many people quite mad.

There’s a current Mumsnet thread about Mayor Khan - the original poster was clearly trying to stir up hatred about him but the responses are heart warming about the differences that he has made. I hope that Mayor Khan can take time to read the thread.

Being accountable to an international court means our Government has to answer to them if it tries to undermine your human rights. Be very suspicious of any UK politician who wants to remove that check on their powers.

Share this and speak up for your freedoms.

We flounced out of the EU on the say-so of politicians who lied to us. And what a total shitshow that’s turned out to be. The polar opposite of what they promised. Now the call to flounce out of the ECHR. By the same people. Telling the same lies. Has the country been kicked in the head by a horse?

If the government wants economic growth it must bring essential industries into public ownership Successive governments clobber households and small businesses by hiking interest rates to manage inflation, but don’t inconvenience corporations.

Having a digital ID will help those on low incomes | Letter Letter: Sandra Coleman says many people don’t have passports or driving licences, which can make it impossible to access online government services for pensions and benefits

This is true in my job. I deal with poorer UK citizens who require photo ID but cannot afford a passport or driving licence.
They can (with support) apply for a Voter Authority Certificate but that is only supposed to be for elections. #digitalID

Some good news.

London is meeting legal limits for toxic NO2 pollution for the first time – almost 200 years earlier than predicted – following the Mayor’s "world leading air pollution policies," City Hall announces.

The Ultra Low Emissions Zone - and similar policies - really do work.
