I do sympathise - my daughter also plays and she hasn't faced any trans girls yet but I'm not sure I would be completely comfortable if she did. They shouldn't have the right to play taken away but, as said elsewhere in replies, for physical sports I think a careful approach is needed.

I do think this is the way but definitely not straight forward. The number of trans people in football, for example, is miniscule. Getting local teams organised, let alone leagues, is going to be a nightmare and people would have to travel miles and miles just to play.
