I love the phenomenon of these underground old-timers who get revered by a younger crowd and rack up covers. Yo La Tengo (multiple times), Cat Power, Calexico, Cass McCombs... (even Nanako Sato...)

even split between a couple other (also great) artists, Have Moicy! is such a pure dose of the communal, goofy, friendly spirit all his stuff has. it's a special one
