Mount Shuksan's peak reflecting in picture lake during a fall day with a blue sky and a trace of snow around the trees at the edges of the lake.

I've been back many times but this was the first time (2008) I saw the iconic scene of Mount Shuksan reflected in Picture Lake in Washington State. I don't photograph it now usually but I will stop and admire the view while eating lunch.

This is a Torrey Pine (pinus torreyana) in fog along the San Diego coast. Made this image on my first hike in 2025.
