Visited Sovereign Hill over the weekend and after going on the mineshaft tours I wish I lived underground, it's brilliant. Total silence, constant 17 degree temperature, timber beams lining the tunnels, flame-effect lighting, I've never felt so comfortable! One day I'll be a hobby tunneller, lol

We were all definitely <18 at the time so there was almost certainly an edginess factor to it as well as "ooh I'm so tough" motivation thrown in. We were children, I forgive them for it, but Ive also noticed that I'm no longer friends with anyone who absolutely hates puns, maybe that says something!

I'm sure YOU'D do it in a fun way, like a playful clap over the the head. But no this was like "I'm going to strangle you with your own hair" or "I will stab you". The 'humour' seemed to partly be the inventiveness of the murder. It was a super weird trend, and I'm glad it's dead (pardon the pun)

You ever offer to do the taxes for your 84 year old friend but when he created his account he mis-spelt one of the answers to his security questions, so you get locked out of his account for 24h three days running as you try every spelling variation of "Melbourne" possible? Good times.

I was about to try and say "well it was season 1, they hadn't worked out her character yet" but honestly even in later seasons, what other reason would she have? Selling farm produce is still a pretty solid motivation for her!

And can I just say to all the people that ever did that, um, screw you? Puns are funny, and even when they're not funny you can just groan and move on. It never warranted this over the top "allow me to describe the exact way I'm going to kill you (in my imagination)" performance art. A weird time.

There was this period in the 2000s when it was considered normal and acceptable to respond to puns with threats of violence. Like you'd say "Ice to see you!" when a friend was carrying ice to a party and someone else would describe how they wanted to kill you, and we were supposed to laugh at that?

Made a wooden mallet for my dad's birthday! I wasn't happy with the handle on the first one, so that became mine and I made a second one (red handle) for him. Quite a simple little project, would be fun to mix more exotic woods and patterns together! Made with walnut, maple, and redgum. #Woodworking
