Remember in Star Trek: The Motion Picture where Starfleet Brundleflies those two dudes in the transporter as a narrative excuse to get Spock back in the ship? That was wild.

I really liked The Long Walk - all the actors were fantastic, and it has the feeling (the ups and the unavoidable downs) of a Vietnam war movie without the actual war. Good stuff
