Judge out sick. I spent over 2hrs waiting for a new court date.

NEVER MIND!!!

Been at the court house since too early and was JUST informed all cases are getting continued bc the judge is sick.

Welp! At least I got to see the sun rise :)

FL hearing in an hour (or so). It’s a post judgment custody case that has dragged on for too long.

Why? I couldn’t explain if I tried.

FRAs make family court cases so unbearable sometimes bc it’s never about the kids w them.

It’s always about what their clients want. Doesn’t matter if that isn’t in the BIC

I often say family law is stressful as a lawyer.

But it is more stressful for clients and I am more than happy to take some of it on so they can focus on themselves.

I sincerely HATE how this field refers to clients as “high value” and “low value” in terms of how much money they have and thus how you price your services to attract the “high value client”

I feel this part of the reason why so many people cannot afford an attorney.
