While cafe hopping today, Jade pulled my card for the day and I got the queen of cups. For me, this connects to the deepening of my understanding of my emotions as well as my focus on refining my novel. This feels like a beautiful reflective way to start a new week.

This past weekend in San Francisco, I decided to check out a book store and cafe that was recommended to me by a friend. With coffee in hand, I walked along the beach and enjoyed the sound of the rolling waves. Even in August, mid-mornings still come with a chill in The City.

Jade drew a tarot card for me today. I had them think about how I can continue to work towards my current goals. I received “The Devil.” For me, this card means recognizing and letting go of self-imposed limitations. Like the people on the card, what figurative chains do I have that I can remove?

Jade pulled a tarot card for me today from their cat deck. I received the Four of Wands. For me, it signifies how we are growing closer together as a couple (especially this summer) and how my efforts in my physical and mental and health journeys have been paying off.

Jade pulled a tarot card for me today as we had tea on the balcony. I received The Three of Pentacles reversed. For me, it highlights my feelings of being grounded and that I am continuing to grow and move beyond past trauma. This has been a wonderful summer and I continue to be optimistic.
