I learned about Sophie Scholl and The White Rose when I was in school and lately nearly every day, I think about her. Her strength and bravery cannot be quantified. She would be appalled by the MAGA movement. May she never be forgotten.

I'm outside the Jesse Brown VA in Chicago for the second second time this week, where once again hundreds of people have gathered for a vigil for Alex Pretti, who was executed by federal agents in Minneapolis.

Sen. Sanders, I love you and your conviction. I will say this with my full chest, there is no reforming this institution that has separated children from their parents arms and harmed immigrants for decades. Abolish ICE and CPB.
