This week I had someone tell me they're not worried about SNAP being cut off because "that's illegal, so it's impossible Trump could do that, so obviously it's just media sensationalism." Another person told me they weren't worried about ICE because "they can't detain you if you're legally here."

Said this elsewhere, but for me none of S3’s shorts had the devastating emotional impact & aesthetic verve of S2’s ScreechEd’s Reach — the best of the Visions shorts overall imho. (Aau’s Song and In the Stars were the other two from S2 that top my overall list)

Appreciate Black‘s concept, but it‘d have benefited from greater removal from the source material & a greater focus on the trooper’s POV. Cool visually but meta too often, referencing the speeder bike chase etc, when more scenes like that glimpse of a romantic memory would have been more powerful

Right? I enjoyed S3 fair enough, but for me none of the shorts reached the heights of S2. And I eagerly anticipated the follow-up to Ninth Jedi, but found it just ok. Pleasantly surprised by The Lost Ones, as I wasn‘t as big on Village Bride (apart from its finale) despite liking F a lot overall

I teared up at some point in each of the S2 shorts I named above. Aau’s Song had so much going for it. Love the art direction, the musicality, canon compatibility, the tangible tactile “felt” aesthetic & strong characterization in such a short runtime

I hear that. Was just leading w what I liked about this season. Overall I liked S2 just okay. Though it had its moments, it just didn't have the emotional heft & aesthetic verve that Season 2 had for me. LOVED S2's Screecher's Reach, Aau's Song & In the Stars. Can't say I loved any of S3's shorts
