🎉 2️⃣0️⃣ years since #TheFriendsStrokeUnit opened at King’s College Hospital.
Named after the #FriendsofKings – a charity providing amenities, medical aids and teaching equipment.
The celebration event reflected on milestones, and invited former #stroke patients to celebrate.

🎉 We’ve treated the first adult patients with previously incurable #TCell leukaemia.
This new gene therapy, developed by scientists at @greatormondst.bsky.social and @uclh.bsky.social, offers new hope for patients with aggressive T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.
