like, i do genuinely think the idea of having a "routine" mode of a bunch of like 2-10 minute exercises would be an amazing addition. that hurdle of mechanical accessibility is a major deal. but i don't think being a "good product" is a good thing. SF6 is a good product. and folks are sick of it.

imo, there are definitely things that could help. but there's no inherent solution to the problem, because it's not a problem. it's kind of the point.

I get not liking Suda 51/Grasshopper’s games but it’s hard to play Romeo Is A Dead Man and not feel a little embarrassed by the lack of ambition and creativity in a lot of games just visually.

i do sometimes wonder why there's so much ink spilled about why fighting games aren't as Mainstream as modern live service titles like this is some sort of problem that needs to be solved. people don't do that for like, shmups or grand strategy or whatever. I think that's just the audience size!
