I had the exact same thought. This dude is all about technical accuracy and instructional design and that image is just.. such a bad attempt at deconstruction.. it would hinder learning to do as he says here. It's not just tone deaf. It's also bewildering.

Does he take any supplements? Vitamin B6 toxicity causes neuropathy symptoms like that. Non-b6 supplements often still include more than the RDI of B6. Big uptick in cases recently. Australian article but it's an international problem:

easy mistake to make

My illustration of Rend, a pet character from the book series Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman. He's a Tummy Acher, resembling a lumpy meatball with legs. He is brown, with a single tooth in the middle of his lower mouth. He's very cute in a gremlin kind of way, depicted here running fast and awkward in pursuit of something off-screen. His little legs are in wild motion and his expression is one of mischievous glee. The word "REND" is appears in large, chaotic hand lettering above, rendered in hot pink. The background is made of streaks of vibrant yellow, spiraling in a splattery pattern away from the subject.

Rend is one of my favourite characters from Dungeon Crawler Carl so I had to draw him. Giggly little mess of a gremlin.

Aiming only for the KPI is a dopamine trap. Getting a trillion internet points versus twenty means nothing on its own. Its about the effect. The goal is meaningful engagement with like minded people, future clients or real friends and avoiding botstorms and the popufur, highschool-girl shitshow.
