Been doing lots of mini painting lately and it is so relaxing. My little gang of painting pals and I have also discovered turnip28 so we’re gonna make some silly messed up lil guys together, with each of us making a different regiment.

Remember, authors and publishers love to see pictures of their game in booths or stores or knolled next to your other purchases.

The thrill of "the person who bought that game from a designer I admire also bought MY game!" Is a nice refresher from the day to day struggle of making indie RPGs.

I really don’t have the time, but also I kinda want to write a cute little adventurous mouse story for NaNoWriMo this year.

Finished my first sylvaneth mini! I'm especially pleased with the blending and freehand vines!

One of my favorite experiences in TTRPG happened this year in the Glitter Hearts campaign @mortphilippa.bsky.social ran on @girlsrunworlds.bsky.social. Getting to show Maya’s full story arc of acceptance of her mermaid self was just so truly magical, and it makes me tear up to think about it. 🥺💕

7 indie tabletop RPGs released this year that you shouldn’t miss Radio waves, wizard keggers and beautiful, violent death.

Spoke about some of my favorite smaller tabletop RPGs of 2023, including VOID 1680AM, Dinocar, Slugblaster and Gubat Banwa.

Seriously, this was a great year for games that didn't come from the regular roster of publishing houses.

As a special holiday treat I am going to release my new updated version of Mycelium — my mausritter adventure — AND also release the printable version of my mini adventure zine, Where is Mr Tibbles?!

Also just working on balancing still being creative and working on TTRPGs while also teaching - the balance is starting to get there but we'll see how it changes in the New Year

3. Collabing with my partner on our cozy space game
4. Working on my solo game about birds

Might get into Warhammer and take up mini painting over christmas, because apparently my brain thinks I don't have enough hobbies already.
