Day 5: Giraffe. Today I learned what a giraffe penis looks like. they have A vermiform appendage or urethral process. Vermiform =worm-like, and it acts like an extension of the urethral opening. It's common in things like goats and sheep, but apparently giraffes have them too.

Happy Bowser day! Been unable to complete an animation yet. So working on fixing some things, and may stream animation stuff later. So for now, have this one again!

It’s cause of the topology really. Plantigrade flows from heel to toe, where Digitigrade doesn’t. And that changes how I have to rig them and model them. If the topology flowed from heel to toe, then the model would look wrong.

Also have some small sculpting practice, I wanted to do “sharp” muscles. I quite like that aesthetic. Also helps retopology when you have such defined edges.

That is to say, aesthetically I like digitigrade paws more. But they don’t like to model. Best paws are the dainty lil paws I always see on primarily female characters.

But generally these are the paw styles I like more. Plantigrade paws are easier to model I’ve found.

I ended up going with these though for a commission I may not be able to share much more of. But I was happy with the paws here.

Also Paws are annoying to make look nice.
