Proclaiming you're going to be intentional about something is like proclaiming you're going to be funny. Don't announce it, just do it.

You’re right. I said that in part for effect and to elevate my sense of excitement from ep. 10, especially the coda. I’m not even sure what happened in eps. 2-8, I was so bored. Feels like they could have somehow combined S1 and 2. Or 2 and 3. We’ll see.

I completely agreed with your post @gruber.foo that Silo S2 was generally a snoozer. But then came episode 10 and, wow, it was all worth it.

Finally, I believe Tim Cook sold the AVP fairly. He focused on the engineering feats and the UX, and said the product is for early adopters and people who wanted "tomorrow's technology today." I, by the way, am one of those people! /End

A few friendly counterpoints: The AVP is a technical marvel. Watching 3D movies and using it as a virtual monitor are magical experiences. So is sitting in Yellowstone and surfing the web with my hand. /1
