i had hoped that someone whom i called 𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘥𝘢 — even if temporarily — would not be quite so cowardly as to be frightened into submission by rocks. clearly, i was incorrect.

had this particular month-long event occurred before grimmjow jaegerjaquez's temporary retirement from his position as an espada, i likely would have chosen someone else to take his place.

then allow me to put it simply.

he reaches out, takes the vial. examines it for a moment, as though peering carefully at it would reveal some hidden mystery about its contents. unnecessary, really, for he (+)

polite, gracious, even if it's clear that kazuma doesn't feel particularly enthusiastic about tea consumption at this particular moment.

there is, of course, a teapot waiting at the ready; he begins heating water, selecting a particularly lovely green tea. perhaps the quality of the leaves will be wasted on kazuma, who looks pale and perhaps a little queasy, but aizen does not expect to have the opportunity to transport all of (+)

(+) suigetsu is easy, almost thoughtless; and just like that, should any of his subordinates think to wander too near to this room, they will hear nothing more than a simple conversation about how pleasant the weather has been.

"before we begin — would you like some tea?"
