There was childcare at (back then) ECCMID in 2023 and it was great pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/37863354/
Disappointing that this seems to depend on the venue (?) or organizational capacities (?).

Great to see at #ESCMIDglobal2025 4 out 9 keynote lectures being held by women and gender balanced achieved in terms of invited faculty.
Keep in mind that giving a talk at ESCMIDglobal creates more visibility/ is more prestigious than chairing a session.

I tried to collect my poster with my toddler on my arm — no chance. Couldn’t even trespass the hallway between Hall A and Hall D to get there.

-Overly dismissive (this is all wrong and I am right OR, even worse, everyone else is stupid, and I'm brilliant)
-Self promotion (but look at MY paper)
