We'll find out from @foodfixco.bsky.social, but I expect Betteridge's law applies and any U.S. push for better labels & reformulation will hit the same obstacles as in Europe, per @alessandroford.bsky.social for @politico.eu:

4/ Why the uncertainty?
π§ͺ Small sample sizes
ποΈ No blinding (hard to blind yoga!)
π Missing long-term data
π Varied outcome measures
3/ After treatment:
π§ββοΈ CRF: Yoga probably helps in the short term (moderate certainty).
π± QoL: Small potential benefitβbut the evidence is still very uncertain.
No strong data on long-term effects.
2/ During cancer treatment:
π CRF: Evidence is very uncertain. Yoga may have little to no impact in short, medium, or long term.
π QoL: Yoga may help slightly in the short & medium termβbut again, certainty is low.

Our takeaway: participation needs more than open doors. It needs open communication.
π£οΈ Tell stakeholders how their input is processed.
π Show them where their feedback shaped outcomes.
π€ Build real collaboration, not symbolic involvement.
However, criticism was more prevalent. A common concern? Transparency.
Many wondered:
πΉ How will our input actually be used?
πΉ Will this change anything?
πΉ Are we part of shaping policyβor just legitimizing it?
Our interviews revealed that many stakeholders valued the opportunity. They saw real potential to contribute to political changeβand appreciated the chance to connect across sectors. Network-building was a big win. β
