Thanks Nicola. This is how I thought about it as well. Do you know if anything like this exists somewhere? We can always insert a link that can take the user back to the main site. All I want is not to have to deploy the Quarto website independently. I'd want it to bear the url of the main site.

Does anyone know of a case where a #quarto website is embedded in another website that wasn't built with quarto? Ideally, the #quarto content would appear as an additional tab or section on the main website, with the URL reflecting the main site itself rather than the separate quarto deployment.

A combination of #quarto and a few lines of #css can do wonders ... 😍

It happens to be a bug as labelled in this GH issue: github.com/quarto-dev/q....

The work around suggested by Roberto Carvajal works. Running 'touch _quarto.yml' in the terminal every time an edit is made auto reloads the browser making the edits visible.

However, after updating RStudio (Version 2024.12.1+563) and Quarto (1.6.42) on Friday, refreshing the browser no longer updates the changes. Now, I have to manually re-render each time, which feels unusual.

I'm using macOS Version 12.7.5.
