yeah, I get that part of it, it's again mostly on the cut in, cuz I've seen a bunch of other ways that make sense, an X or hatch lines.

I understand for professionals, but when the inflation artist with no interest in "gore" does it, gets a tad confusing

Never really understood character ref sheets in general, the really detailed ones.

but the main thing that always confuses me is the amputation that's really common on a good amount of em, like in what scenario does someone need to know what your characters inside meat and bones looks like.
