🧵 The Jay Treaty of 1794 allowed Tafv and I to walk across the bridge over Niagara Falls, enter Canada, and come back, all using only our Tribal Citizenship Cards back in 2023.

Now a Native Nation and a First Nations are going to assert their sovereignty under that same treaty to reestablish

As an Inupiaq vtuber I included cultural tattoos into my design including a chin tattoo called tavlugun.

This practice was banned in the US with the arrival of Christian missionaries, and that ban held until the passing of Indian Religious Freedom Act of 1978

RIP Graham Greene. Every time he popped up on screen when I was a kid, my mom would excitedly point him out for being an actual Native on the screen. Able to be deadly serious and infinitely hilarious (even in smaller roles like Last of Us), he ate up the screen. Nʌki’wah brother.
