Had a fantastic Mermaid pelagic trip off Penzance on Sunday. The sight of 15 Wilson’s Storm Petrel “dancing” on the water was absolutely magical.

Working nearby this morning meant I had the chance to try for the Woolbeding Honey Buzzards, couldn’t believe my luck when one did a close fly-by after 10 minutes wait. No further sign after 2 hours.

This one small bush held Pied Fly, Redstart, Nightingale, Whinchat, Wryneck, Lesser Whitethroat, amongst others! The wonders of spring passage in Cyprus. Nea Paphos.

Pleased to eventually get in on some of the Arctic Tern action when one decided to drop in to the Foxcote patch this morning.
