One of the many Wilson’s Storm Petrel seen from the Penzance pelagic. Such a challenge to photograph with the boat rocking about, and the speed they whizzed above the waves at. πŸͺΆ

Had a fantastic Mermaid pelagic trip off Penzance on Sunday. The sight of 15 Wilson’s Storm Petrel β€œdancing” on the water was absolutely magical.

Working nearby this morning meant I had the chance to try for the Woolbeding Honey Buzzards, couldn’t believe my luck when one did a close fly-by after 10 minutes wait. No further sign after 2 hours.
