We rely on migration for the economy and several industries, decrease that and the economy is worse. A worsening economy means worse conditions. Unhappy public looks for someone to blame. Politicians tell them it's migrants. And so we end up in a never ending loop while everything gets worse.

I don't know why some perceive registering emigration and returning as an "intrusion maybe, even an obstacle". I found the registering process in Switzerland welcoming, informative and useful on arrival, and convenient and helpful upon leaving.

I don’t recall seeing so much uncertainty just 24 hours ahead with quite radically different tracks, depths and impacts of the low in different models.

Our information space is dominated by a system that demands and rewards continous and immediate emotional gratification, so you can't even begin to have a discussion about complex issues. It's a bright cancer that spreads and multiplies with every interaction.

Today, Farage’s close ally, leader of Reform in Wales, was sentenced to 10yrs for taking bribes from Russia.

Also, in the detailed tables and in the maps, the app lacks momentum scrolling and elastic scrolling (bounce effect), making navigation clunky and unprofessional. Plus scrolling in the detailed tables only works if your finger touches text or symbols. Again the old version got all this right.

Main problems: Wind gusts matter in storms and should be in the main table. Units should be configurable everywhere (e.g. wind in km/h). Website should provide scroll bars to allow continuous navigation in time rather than the arrow buttons which jump forward 9 hours. Old version got all this right.

The Covid inquiry’s findings are shocking but unsurprising now, so the main thing it left me thinking is that without a vaccine we wd’ve been utterly screwed. & if you worked round the clock to make a thing that saved millions of lives globally, to see that legacy trashed by anti-vaxxers…
