yes i know that being put under arrest essentially means that the police are hanging on to you untill they let you go for one of many reasons, but the most common one is for committing a crime.

yall see what i mean?

the language they use in legal systems is so archaic and scary because of media and stuff. what if a neurodivergent who has never interacted with the law before (like myself) was told they were under arrest after being asked if they could simply answer some questions?

ill be making a seperate post going into more detail about my new music project. but for now, just know that i am NOT quitting music, but in fact making music for me and my friends. of course, I'll cherish any and all fans i gain, but the numbers aren't going to scare nor dictate me anymore.

cmp made me think there was no point in putting (so much) time and effort into something that you're not going to show others. not to say cmp was bad or anything, but the mindset/ideologies obviously weren't perfect.

that's why i'm going to take what i can from cmp and keep moving forward!

in fact, in some weird twisted way, my own depression opened my eyes to why the cudsys music project (cmp) wasn't "fun" or "interesting" or "easy-feeling" anymore. it's because cmp became a means for praise, recognition, status, etc.

the important part though is that during a particular "fit of blind sadness and anger towards myself", i deleted my bandcamp, soundcloud and music channel on youtube. something very similar happened 5 years ago as of the 5th, but the difference here is that i don't feel any regrets.

so last night, i had what i've been calling a "depression spike", where i start to feel really down and self loathing with seemingly no catalyst. well, i THINK i know what caused last night's spike but im not 100% sure, so i won't pretend that i know about my "mystery mechanics" if you will.
