Iello and the French playing card museum have released four classic card games that come with a little booklet containing its rules and history. The Koi Koi one even explains some specific art on the cards.

The Exit advent calendar had some good puzzles so far.

We're really enjoying Deckers and Tag Team.

Our nephews always want to play Sniper Elite and Robot Quest Arena, which is nice.

We've fallen in love with Koi Koi and really enjoy how the Iello deck helps you recognize the cards more easily.

Just go on step beyond what "This Is How You Lose the Time War" did. Everyone's name is a single emoji: 🦿 🫆 🌺

Panel 1: A woman says she needs to get presents for her family. Heinze leans in and asks if she wants some games for them. Panel 2: Heinze asks what her family likes and suggests tableau-building games. Rachel excitedly suggests deck-building games, saying everybody loves them. Panel 3: The woman thinks it might not be a bad idea. Heinze happily hands her a long catalog page, saying it lists the games they’re selling now. Panel 4: She asks if the games are really good since they're selling them. Heinze and Rachel crowd around her, insisting the games are great and that they just need shelf space. Heinze says he has highlighted good matches for her family, and Rachel adds that they’ll give her three free games if she please takes them off their hands/shelves.

We really like it! We were a bit hesitant if a cardboard auto battler would work without the fun social dimension of Challengers but it really nice and short.

The character designs are great too! They all bring something interesting to the table without breaking the game in overly complicated ways.
